DC/NYC

I am finally home from my trip with Savannah and her 7th and 8th grade classes to Washington DC and New York City. It was 5 nights and 6 days of whirlwind fun! We saw so much stuff my head and body were in overload. Our flight was delayed 3 hours because of snow delay and after being at the airport with 50 7th graders we fnally left NY at 9:05 ET. We should have made it home by about midnight but thanks to a medical emergency on our plain I finally got into my comfy bed at 3:00 am. And my sweet husband had a sweet suprise for me! A new little Chihuahua named CoCo!! here are some pics:

homework torture!!

Have you ever wondered why homework exists? Doing homework at the Dodson house is like pure torture! Sweet Trea took three hours to do one math page and spelling words. He will fight to the death to keep from doing it! Savannah thinks that she can only do homework if I am sitting next to her saying "pay attention, don't watch tv, go to your room and finish now!" And to top it off I find out that she has a 30 seed and 30 leave project due tuesday. We have exactly one avocado seed. Yea for us!!!
