My Music Man

Last night Trea made his acting debut as a townskid in The Music Man! He was so cute I could not have been more proud of him! He now has the acting bug and wants to audition for Peter Pan next week. So in about 10 years when he is the next big thing, you guys can say you knew him when he was a sweet little boy! Here are some cute pics!

My sweet friend Leigh!

Everyone who reads my blog of course knows the lovely Leigh Gilbert! She is a sweet girl whom I have gotten to know better by working at the Grace Place with her, she is kind, caring and a great role model for Savannah. BUT.....you may not know it but Leigh has a dark side! After pelting me with water balloons, KNOCKING me DOWN, breaking my flip flop (which she fixed)and laughing until she almost peed her pants I have been left with a huge ugly black, purple and green bruise all over my leg! (Well a small scrap from sliding actually but the bruise sounds better) Anyway, beware of LEIGH!!!

Cutest Sloth Ever!

Thursday and Friday was Savannah's middle school musical-Suessical. When they first got their parts Savannah came home and was very upset that she had been given the role of the sloth! In her words a sloth is the slowest animal in the world. She made us believe her costume was awful and she was hideous! When it was time for them to come out, we feared the worse...this is what she actually looked like.....





Of course she looked georgeous!

Cheer Fun

Yesterday we spent all day at Six Flags for a cheer competition for Savannah. Her squad got first place in their division! This was also the first time we let Savannah and her friends go off by themselves for a little while and then check back in. After seeing some of the boys walking around by themselves we started having second thoughts! All in all it was a fun day that left me as red as a lobster! Here are some cute pics!

I am so slow!

OK Emily and Kristy, I read your blogs and thought cool-I can probably type really fast. Surely I can beat 75 and 78 WPM (not that I am competitive either Emily) but I have been on that test about 20 times and can not get over 5o words per minute! What a typing loser!

Today is my sweet daughter Savannah's 13th birhday. Where does the time go? She is all into boys and clothes and sometimes wearing too much make-up but she is too cute for words and I love her so much!! I remember bringing her home from the hospital and she was so tiny and now she is 13!
