I am so slow!

OK Emily and Kristy, I read your blogs and thought cool-I can probably type really fast. Surely I can beat 75 and 78 WPM (not that I am competitive either Emily) but I have been on that test about 20 times and can not get over 5o words per minute! What a typing loser!

Today is my sweet daughter Savannah's 13th birhday. Where does the time go? She is all into boys and clothes and sometimes wearing too much make-up but she is too cute for words and I love her so much!! I remember bringing her home from the hospital and she was so tiny and now she is 13!

What a weekend..

This has been such a hard weekend for my family. I don't know all the blog rules or if only fun things are suppose to be on here but I thought maybe I would share in case anyone has any thoughts. We have an above ground pool and deck in our back yard thanks to Ryan and Shannon being so generous! It has been great fun and we really enjoy it but on Friday morning we realized how dangerous it can be. trea and his cousin didn't latch the gate all the way and our beloved sweet dog Princess that we have had for 12 years must have tried to chase something up on the deck sometime during the night. I have never since we got the pool seen her up there so that is all we can thing of. Friday morning we couldn't find her anywhere and searched and searched. My mom just so happened to notice that she was in the pool. We are all just devasted. To think that our poor dog died like that is almost too much to bear and seeing that picture is hard to get out of your head. Trea is having trouble because he knows he didn't shut the gate right and he is such a sensitive little guy that we are worried he will obsess over it. I know it could have been alot worse, it could have been a child that went in and fell in but Princess was a part of our family. I know that sounds crazy but she was with us almost as long as Savannah and it is hard not seeing her sweet face!

DC/NYC

I am finally home from my trip with Savannah and her 7th and 8th grade classes to Washington DC and New York City. It was 5 nights and 6 days of whirlwind fun! We saw so much stuff my head and body were in overload. Our flight was delayed 3 hours because of snow delay and after being at the airport with 50 7th graders we fnally left NY at 9:05 ET. We should have made it home by about midnight but thanks to a medical emergency on our plain I finally got into my comfy bed at 3:00 am. And my sweet husband had a sweet suprise for me! A new little Chihuahua named CoCo!! here are some pics:
