Yesterday was my Kids 1st day back to school. Savannah was a little more excited than Trea (he hates school)! It is hard to believe that my daughter has one more year until she is in high school. Am I really that old??? I am a little sad to see the summer end but am alot ready to get back to a normal routine! Here's praying for a great year!!!

Computer Trouble!
My last post was in July about my cell phone and my bad luck continued. After losing my cell phone, my computer crashed and we have been computer free for several weeks. We now finally have it back and this morning my monitor went out. We had to get Savannah's monitor and use it until we get a new one. Fun times at the Dodson's!
In other news, Trea started rehersals for Belles on their Toes-a play that is a continuation of the Cheaper by the Dozen books. He plays one of the brothers who is a prankster named Jamie and he is very excited. I am ready to get school started next week and get my family back on their routine!

Bye Bye Cell phone
I am so bummed out! I went to Kohl's today with my mom and Savannah to get some new duds. Duce called me so I took my phone out of my purse to answer it and just put it in my pocket when we hung up. I went to try on some clothes and Savannah called to see where I was in the store and after I hung up I sat my phone on the little shelf in the dressing room and made a mental note to NOT forget to put it back in my pocket. Do you think that happened? NO! I realized about 20 minutes later that my phone was not in my pocket and went back to the dressing room. Was it there? Of course not and no Kohl's employee had seen it. So after calling Duce (he was extremely happy), cancelling the phone and calling the Lake Worth PD to file a report (for insurance) I just ask myself are there really people that mean in the world to take someone else's cell phone and not turn it in. Duce thinks I am terribly naive to not realize that people are like that. It had to be a woman because it was in the woman's dressing room-it just makes me sad that people do that kind of stuff to other people. Well as Duce puts it-at least I'll get a new phone out of it!

Happy Birthday Trea!
Today is my sweet little man's birthday. He is 9 today! Here are nine things I love about him...
1. He is so stinkin cute!
2. He is always dancing and shakin his groove thing!
3. He knows the name and driver of every monster truck driver and knows without a doubt in his heart that he will be a monster truck driver! (not if mom has anything to say about it)
4. He is the funniest person I know!
5. He is very loving and always sensitive to other people's feelings!
6. He's a tad OCD!
7. He is totally content to hang out at home with his family!
8. He loves his mom!
9. He has complete faith that God will take care of his every need!
There are so many more reasons I love Trea and I am so blessed to have him for a son!

Where is Summer going?
I can't believe it has been a month since my last blog. I feel like summer is flying by and I am not sure if that is a good thing or bad! We have been so busy with Trea's show that we are ready to relax. He has had so much fun but now it is finally over. We will be able to get to a somewhat normal lazy summer. Next week Savannah has cheer camp for four days and then it will be smooth sailing! We have had a few weekly rituals going on though...Library on Thursday and Hurricane Harbor on Fridays. Wow how fun are we!

My Music Man
Last night Trea made his acting debut as a townskid in The Music Man! He was so cute I could not have been more proud of him! He now has the acting bug and wants to audition for Peter Pan next week. So in about 10 years when he is the next big thing, you guys can say you knew him when he was a sweet little boy! Here are some cute pics!
